This was our favorite hotel on our month long Europe trip. We have been to Rothenberg several times and stayed at great hotels but this beat all of them – hands down. Rothenberg is a fabulous romantic town and our stay here added to the old world feel of the town. We were warmly welcomed by a charming young lady in medieval attire (I wish that I could remember her name) she was very friendly and attentive at breakfast each morning. The rooms were done in the medieval décor with large modern baths. The breakfast room is warm and quaint and the breakfast was the best that we have ever had in Europe. They served mimosas, fresh fruit, eggs with your choice of preparation, cereals, yoghurt and a large assortment of breads, meats and cheeses. I would highly recommend this wonderful small hotel, you will not be disappointed.

As a regular visitor to Rothenburg, I wanted to give my new bride an unforgettable experience on her first visit to the beautiful city. Choosing this marvelous hotel was one of my best pick for our belated honeymoon trip....she loved it!

My husband and I stayed here for two nights in September and loved the authentic look and feel of the hotel and room. The hotel was was warm and inviting. Our room had a huge bathroom with a nice view. The breakfast was great and the staff weere very welcoming and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place and will stay here again when in Rothenburg.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Gotisches Haus and after traveling to several German cities during our 2 week visit, this historic hotel was definitely our favorite! The ambiance of the hotel, the warmth of the staff embraced the medieval spirit of Rothenburg. The restoration of this hotel is superb--many details tell of the history of the city that surrounds you. It is a "must stay" for anyone visiting Rothenburg!!
