We spent 2 nights in Rothenburg in early November. The B&B is located 2 minutes away from the city centre. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is to die for! If you're wanting a real German experience, I'd look no further than Haus Karin.

The B&B is just a 10 minute walk from the old walled part of the city. We parked our car on the street for the two days without any problem. Karin is very warm and helpful, the breakfasts were nice, but the soft bed and old furniture really spoiled it in the end.

Just spend some money on fixing the place up and it would be wonderful.

Also, the room faces south and gets really warm. We were there in October so I don't know what it would be like in the summer.

an amazing experience, great deal at a wonderful house. Karin is super friendly, very helpful. We had an early flight and said that we're departing before 6am, Karin told us "No one leaves my house without a breakfast" and had it ready for us at 5:15am ! The breakfast is a wonder in every regard - food is perfectly prepared and served. in the fridge, included is wine, beer and water. She will also recommend a great local restaurant, be sure to go there for an experience in food and service.

We had the privilige of staying with Karin Dec 16 - 18, 2011. Everything we read about this place in the reviews is true. It is close to the city center. It is clean and has a great breakfast. She has beer and water for you in a small refrigerator which is nice for when you return after a day of shopping. We thought they had a great Christmas market. Her husband will pick you up at the train station and this was helpful. We were late arriving and were able to let her know ahead of time. She really appreciated that.
