We booked into this little hotel for 2 nights over the Christmas period. And the location was superb! But....we were checked in at the lovely part of the hotel with full atmosphere and ambiance and sent to our room down the road in a basic hotel room. The room was large and clean but we sure felt left out, when we coulnd't get parking then couldn't get dinner as everything was booked out, and then sent down the road to the sterile room.

We stayed here for 3 nights during Christmas time. It is a lovely place, clean and cosy. The breeakfast is nice and the service is quite good. We highly recommend it, it is very good value for a 3stars hotel!

this place really interprets the german rules for 3* - but this is fine as it is in a good place.
Our room had no frills
and does offer parking within the city walls.
A great beer garden and traditional meals top it up to a very nice stay.

We really liked this hotel and loved Rothenburg.
Rothenburg was the highlight for us in Germany. Lovely Christmas markets.
What a beautiful town.
The hotel is in the heart of the old city so the location is second to none and the hotel restaurant is excellent.
If you're wanting a clean 3 star hotel with atmosphere located in the heart of the old city you will not be disappointed.
The Rothenburg Christmas markets were just fabulous and the town itself is the most beautiful we have seen in Germany.
