This is a hotel for buses loaded with tourists! We stayed for 3 nights but should have stayed for one or two. The staff is friendly but there is really no service that the hotel offers. Tourist buses come loaded every evening - so don't expect great service at dinner or breakfast - they are totally focused on the tourist bus business - not on individual customers. The location is about 10-15 minute walk uphill from the town - Six Euros for teh cab from the train station - dont try pulling your luggage up the hill.
The general maintenance isn't very good and it is certainly NOT a 4 star hotel we were told it was.
There are some good things about the hotel. They have this idea of having boiling water available - no tea, coffee, milk or sugar - just water and cups. There is a supermarket at the bottom of the hill, get the 3-in-one coffee sachets - as we did and enjoy coffee while watching the river Lech flow by.
The hotel is next to the river and we did have a great view. It's also close to Lech Falls and you can reach the town by walking along the river. They also do laundry by the load, ask at the reception - 10 euros and all your cloths washed cleaned! There is free internet in the lobby, but only one computer - so prepare to wait if you don't have a laptop.
