Don't forget to pack your swimming gear, as you can swim in the lake in front of the hotel. The Hotel lawn runs straight down to the lake. Plenty going on in around it.

The scenery is amazing and very relaxing. Only 6.5kilometres from Fussen the local bus stops right outside the hotel and if you want to visit the castles (Neuschwanstein etc) you get a discount from your hosts, Simone & Micheal. I have to say, they made me feel very welcome, room was clean and comfortable and faciliities were good. Also a good buffet breakfast !!!

A very efficient host who offers us quick service and clear advice. Clean room with nice lake view. Good breakfast with a variety of choice, including boiled egg and fried egg. Free and spacious car park. Seems almost flawless. But don't know why I was a bit stressed during my two nights' stay. During breakfast time, guests were all rush to finish their breakfast and were always behind you to grasp the food. Maybe because breakfast is served from 8 and the guests want to finish their breakfast and go to the Schloss Neuschwanstein by 9 as advised by the host.

Place is beautiful in a beautiful location. Very clean, friendly staff, and the most amazing view. Close to Fussen sights, but not too close. My husband and I loved it. Breakfast was included and was delicious. You will not be disappointed!

Right on the shores of Lake Weissensee, this place has the most spectacular view across the lake to the mountains on the other side.

We had a two bedroom family room, which was perfect for myself, my partner, and both my parents. The apartment was tastefully furnished with cute little homely touches, and had 2 single beds in the main room (with kitchen and dining table, TV etc) and a separate double bed and small bathroom in the other room. The pillows were feather and squashed down to nothing, but this we later found was a pretty standard thing in Germany, so I am not complaining!There was a great little kitchenette and a dining table, and a small patio out the back with table and chairs where we could enjoy the beautiful lake view in a nice garden setting. The entire apartment was very spacious and was a great place to relax, I only wish we had stayed longer!

The breakfast buffet on the balcony in the morning sunshine was fabulous and there was such a wide variety of cooked options and cold cuts, lovely german breads, cereal, fruit, etc. to cater for anyone's needs. The hosts were both very friendly.

There were three or four good restaurants/pubs within walking distance which were good options.

I would definitely recommend Dreimaderlhaus if you are visiting Fussen or Neuchwanstein Castle as long as you have a car. It was a lovely secluded spot.
