This hotel looked reasonably good online, and having not been to Regensburg for several years, the combination of a cheap online rate (70 euro) and a central location made it seem worth a try. Do not be tempted into staying here! We were given room 330, at the corner of the building on the the third (top floor). After a scary trip up a squeaky wooden staircase (the lift made far worse noises), the room initially looked good - huge for a cheap hotel, and with a partial view of the Dom (cathedral). On closer examination, however, the carpet was stained, the bathroom dated, the furniture rattled when heavy vehicles drove past, and the twin beds were ridiculously soft and wouldn't stay together when we both lay down.
Most importantly, however, the hotel has no sound insulation, despite being on an extremely busy junction and having a bar/nightclub downstairs. There is very basic secondary double glazing which we were forced to close completely due to the noise outside, which made the room stifingly hot (and no fan or air-con was provided). Between the heat and the noise, neither I nor my partner got any sleep until the night-time noise settled down at about 4am - and we are Londoners!
I have had much better nights' sleeps in basic hostels and would strongly suggest that if you are visiting Regensburg, either stay somewhere that is outside the old town (which is tiny anyway), or check about soundproofing before booking.
