This just can't be a four star hotel, it's very disappointing. The description in the brochure is at best exaggerated , it says it is idylically situated in an oasis of quiet and relaxation. It is actually in the middle of a new commercial centre where the Bavarian forest mentioned is nowhere to be seen. There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room or foyer, the mini bar had only two bottles of water ( free) and the bathroom was not as clean as it could have been. Gave it a rating of 2 and not 1 only because of the comfortable size of the room.

I am from Holland an visited Regensburg for the first Time. I stayed at the "Best Western-Atrium Hotel". What a nice city! Nightlife and culture is excelent. I stayed in a nice hotel with the greatest eployees I`ve ever seen in a hotel. The rooms are ok and it is nice to get a free welcome drink. If I come to Germany again, I will sure visit Regensburg again.

Located in the industrial/commercial area, a small but nice hotel. I've surprised the fact that the hotel is actually a 3 star hotel although advertised as 4 star hotel in the catalogs.Also there's no restaurant inside the hotel and no sauna or fitness center facilities as falsely advertised in the brochures. There are a few restaurants within a short walking distance though; Chinese, Italian and typical German cafe's. And the hotel offers snacks at their small lounge. Rooms are medium size, a bath tub is foreseen. The drinks in the minibar is free and the there's complimentary and tea/coffie with water heater in the room which is a plus I guess.The are is pretty much dead during the evening since it's in the business district. There's a nearby bus stop if you want to go to the city center. It takes about 10 minutes. The hotel is nearby the department stores and the biggest shopping mall of the city Donau shopping center. You may find a travel agency, doctors, a drug store, a baker and a few banks within the walking distance. The airport shuttle also stops and departs near by the hotel.So, it's ok for a short business trip to stay there but for the rest you can find cheaper and nicer hotels in the city or outside the city.
