This hotel was the first hotel booked on our behalf for our cycling tour of the danube. We had paid demi-pension for the tour so our dinner and breakfast was ok. Dinner at the hotel was plain and very carbohydrate laden. The wait staff were ok. Breakfast was so much better.
Reception did a great job providing us with our cycling details. There was no real breifing meeting for the tour so the directions we were given helped us start our tour the next day.
A public bus is on the main street outside the hotel. The bus gets you into Passau, so you don't have to walk up and down the steep hill to the hotel.
The hotel is on the main street leading into Passau so keep the window closed if noise is an issue for you, or take ear plugs.
The hotel is a few blocks away from the famous church with the biggest organ, so go to an organ concert if you have the time.
