“Good for a business stay outside the City...would not choose as a tourist hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 December 2011

Solid stay outside the city near the exhibition center and the Siemens campus. Wasnt sure what to expect when seeing pictures online of the front of the building....looked like we were booking rooms ins omeone's farmhouse...was worried I'd be cuddling with the goat. Don't let the pictures fool you, the view from the street is very misleading. Its a good sized hotel with a large parking area and treed courtyard that I am sure is very nice for a beer on a summer evening.

It was about $95 US for a single. hotel is maybe a bit old and out of style, but it was clean and comfortable.

Breakfast was quite good and included. Did not use internet service. I've stayed at other hotels in the city for quite a bit more and would likely use one of them again to enjoy Nuremberg, but if its just a quick overnight with no time for the city, this place is fine.

Fantastic chinese restaurant around the corner.

“Very nice quality stay Budget hotel Super Breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 September 2011

Really a nice place. In the woods feeling thought your still in town. Super parking. Veyr nice outdoor grill/bar . Rooms a bit small, but very high clean and well prepared....absolutely seamless stay. Super for a short halt. Very close to the highways, so easy to get out of Nuremberg as well. Friendly staff and nice breakfast.

“Good Location Outside Main City”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 August 2009

We chose this hotel first for rate, then location. We didnt want to park in Nurnburg and the rate for the hotel per night was equal to what we'd pay for a room in the city plus nightly parking fee. Rooms were well appointed, clean, semi-comfortable beds (with annoying headboard light that came on when bumped in the middle of the night). 1-English speaking channel (CNN). Stocked mini-bar that provides some room for personal food/drink. Wardrobe with several cubbies and hangars. No air conditioning in rooms required us to open windows which, depsite location, being in a residential area can still be noisy. There are two local grocery stores in the area and several bakeries for breakfast if you dont want to pay the steep price for the hotel buffet. (no buffet is worth 16 Euro/person) The Park+Ride for the U1 Bahn is 5-min away and the U1 takes 20-min (if that) to downtown Nurnberg. This is a good location if you dont want to stay IN the city but still want good access.

“Off the beaten path”

My wife and I stayed at the Ramada in June 2006. It took us awhile to find the hotel as we were under the mistaken impression that is was closer to the old part of town than it was. Once we found the hotel though, we were pleasantly please. The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. Both nights that we stayed there, we had dinner at the hotel and it was very good. The staff really looked after you.

Though it was some distance to the center of town, the public transportation was great. There was a bus stop right next to the hotel which took you to the underground. From there it was about a twenty minute trip to the center of town. Really simple to do. They will sell you the tickets at the front desk of the hotel. It was 3 Euro's a person for a two day pass. Can not beat the price.
