What can i say this is a cookie cutter hotel chain, all was clean and perfect for a 3-4 day stay right next to the old town for a visit to the Christmas market. Breakfast was generous with a large selection of continental food, fresh orange juice, breads meats cheeses etc.

If you are in Nuernberg and need a decent priced hotel, clean, at a central place, this is certainly the place to go. You can reach it by foot from the Central Station, if you go with Strassenbahn Nr. 8 it is just one stop (but you do not need to take public transport!, just follow the Strassenbahn tracks direction south).

This is our go to place to stay when we just need place to crash for a night. I've stayed at this place twice, most recently in Sept of 2011 when I was in Europe for 2 weeks. Landed in frankfurt and drove straight to Nuernberg from the airport. Hotel has cheap parking and is extremely close to the city center (next to train station). One downfall is that it IS next to the train station (summer months with window open can be noisey). With the double pane glass closed its dead silent. Decent beds, always clean, but small room. WOuldnt want to stay here for more than 2 days because of its size, but i cant complain. Their pay for breakfast is one of my favorites. Totally worth the 7 euro, I stuff myself with all the eggs, breads, cheeses, deli meat and usually skip lunch! If you looking for a place to stay for a night or two definitely consider this place.

Motel One is a clean, modern and quiet hotel, and it's an xcellent location for visiting the city. Despite its position, very close to the railroad, it's quiet: just a muffled sound from the passing trains! The staff were helpful and spoke good English. I definitely recommend this hotel for a weekend trip in Nuernberg.
