My Girlfriend and I stayed in a standard room here. The Location is great and the included breakfast is very good for Europe. The room is very small if you are going with friends the bed is too small for two guys. The air conditioning is useless. The biggest problem is that the hotel is VERY noisey. The walls are paper thin and if your room faces the street you will not sleep well even with the windows closed. We stayed over a weekend and two weeknights, the weekend was unbearable, the weeknights was at least twice a night of getting woken. The price was very good. The staff was helpfull. If you are going to stay here you must get a room that does not face the street. The only way I would stay again is if I got a room that did not face the street. And I still would only stay for a night or two.

Hotel Falkenturm had excellent staff, secure premises, clean/comfortable rooms and large bathrooms. The room is TINY, but if you are only using it as a base point for sleep & showers, you do not need anything larger. There are few frills, but the rooms were immaculately clean and the bed was very comfortable.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the summer months as the rooms do not have air conditioning, but any other time of year this is a centralized, ideal hotel for your travels to Munich.

I was attending an opera at Bayerische Staatsoper and wanted a hotel in close proximity. This hotel provided much more. Exceptionally clean and comfortable; free wi-fi; great breakfast; staff friendly & helpful. I couldn't have asked for more. Close to the Old Town & the famous Hofbräuhaus. Would recommend to anyone visiting Munich.

Fantastic position, very cosy place. Rooms are small, but beds are very comfortable. 2 min walking from Marienplatz. I will strongly recomend to have a meal in italian Osteria in front of the hotel - greate food and service! Just dont go to this hotel during the summer - they dont have a/c. Very good price for such a central position.
