GHotel is located a bit away off the Innerstadt than other hotels in area what makes us walk a bit more, but it also means that it’s a bit more quite and calm here. Service is kind, breakfasts on the last floor and balcony very nice (although please note that they are not included and guy at the reception forgot to tell us about it during check in) and room cleaningness and comfort very much adequate.
Nothing really special, but if you get a good price and don't need a high comfort rooms you can go for it with no hesitations ;)

This hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the train station and marionplatz. It was slightly larger than other hotels around europe and has washing machines downstairs. I thought the price was reasonable for what you get, the rooms were very clean. No air conditioners though.

The hotel is close to the main train station and that makes it a good option. The lack of AC and the overpriced internet (only available through T-mobile in either 1-hour or 30-day increments?!), plus some noise coming from the street are a drag. Also, the neighborhood is somewhat "shady", so I would not encourage you to walk around alone at night. A couple of blocks away you enter in some sort of casino area (even closer to the train station). But it's a decent hotel for the money.
Parking is 10 Euro, underground, but very hard to park, as it's very tight and I think I scratched my car. Getting out of the parking is an experience in itself. I learned I have to pull this special chain to open the door. Of course, the chain is not labeled :)

Booked through Rates to Go for a double room for three nights. When we checked in they apparently had no record of our booking- as it was a busy weekend they probably just gave our room away. They offered us a single room for the same price. When we contacted Rates to Go about seeking a refund for the deposit G Hotel came back and said they had given us a double. Hotel itslef was a bit grim!! Ps Theres nothing in Munich worth seeing
