I spent three nights here while at a nearby conference. The room was clean, WiFi was fast and faultless, and the glass shower in the bedroom was "interesting." Also, the breakfast buffet downstairs was excellent.

I stayed 2 nights. It's right across from the main train station, a ten minute walk to Marienplatz, it's clean, and the people at the front desk were helpful. The rooms are a little basic and a little pricey on weekends, but overall I was very happy with my choice

We spent three night's in Fleming's hotel Munich and all I can say is that I would definitely recommend that to anyone travelling in couple to Munich. Business partners or just men companies are advised to look elsewhere due to the fully glazed in-room shower cabin.

Good reasons to do so would be: the nice and friendly staff in reception, bar and restaurant which was genuinely willing to help you by all means ( they even offer us a late check out without charge on the day of our departure), breakfast was not the kilometer's long buffet but again i would say it was rich, pluralistic and never boring: fresh buns and rolls of all the sorts every day, charcuterie delicacies, salmon, great number of spreads, fresh fruits and egg dishes prepared to order included in the price), room was perfect for the money spent, clean and in tact. Of course there were minor details that could have been taken care of, such as an clean ashtray forgotten in our non smoking room but honestly i didn't mind at all. Details of this sort for me count only when one pays for luxury 5 stars and Fleming's was a four stars establishment which worth all the 4 of them.

We dined at the restaurant the night of our arrival and food was as tasty as the politeness of the waitress. Fresh food, reasonably overpriced as most of the hotel restaurants with a decent selection of beers and wines. Bar had a good attitude and urban flair with a pintch of bavarian references not overdone but as good so that you know which city one is visiting.

Only minor disadvantage is the not that attractive neighbourhood, it's next to the train station which on the other hand is a great convinience. I wouldn't say that it's dangerous but it has the train station atmosphere around. We never felt uncomfortable anyway.

The hotel is conveniently located beside Munchen Hbf, about a 3 minute stroll from the station (after leaving the station from the right exit, turn right after crossing the road). Marienplatz is also within a walkable distance (10 to 15 minutes walk). Rooms were clean, although the television is really old (CRT TVs instead of LCDS, but who cares about television anyway) and the pillows were a tat too soft for my liking. Nonetheless, the rooms were big and clean, while the staff were really helpful and polite. breakfast was pretty good with a decent decent spread. There is even a sauna at the basement, but since I was only here for a day, I had to give it a miss. Good choice if you are staying here for a couple of days.
