“Great!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 November 2010

As soon as we arrived, I knew this was going to be a great stay. Our room was nice, big, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was nice, big and clean. The room included shampoo and body wash unlike most European hotels. The hotel is pretty new and is well up-to-date. The breakfast was also very nice, there was a very big selection, too. The only thing that was a pain was the walk. Our room was in the back corner of the hotel and it is about a two minute walk to the elevator. It wasn't a big deal, everything else was great!

The hotel is located in the eastern suburbs of munich. It's right on the edge of the city in a very peaceful location. Although it is about a half hour drive into the city.

“great deal, wonderful staying”

Having booked a very low price, had our doubts about the quality of this hotel. Moreover, it was in a position relatively far from the center, about 5 km. Upon arriving, however, all doubts dispelled. The warm welcome and a lovely room they gave us was the best glimpse of what would follow in the coming days. The room was huge (so huge), clean and with a huge window (greater than 5 m in width !!!!). The view from the fourth floor to the rear of the hotel was very very beautiful! We saw rabbits up !!!!!!!!!!!
The room had a kitchenette with all necessary utensils for cooking (electric stove, microwave, pots, sponge and dish detergent, etc.) and a small refrigerator. The bathroom was modern and very clean and the room had a sofa - bed and work desk. The originality, however, was that the bed was positioned in a recess in the sense of creating a separate bedroom! Moreover, it had a TV cabinet which can be rotated to either the bed or on the couch!
The next morning the pleasant impression continued with breakfast and the breakfast room. The breakfast was a huge variety, including typical German dishes such as sausages, pretzel, various breads, etc. Also, our review resulted in attention to detail in presentation. The breakfast room was very bright and pleasant and the coffee was the best we have ever tasted in a hotel!
The staff was always very pleasant and helpful and the map of the city that gave us very practical and very readable!
Due to a cold we used the sauna, where we were all alone. Everything was clean and pleasant.
As regards transportation, it was ultimately not a problem as the S bahn station was about 15 minutes away on foot. From there, the center was about 10 minutes. Moreover, the bus station just 200 meters from the hotel! The bus to go to Max Weber Platz, from where he took the U Bahn and in 7-8 minutes you were still in the middle!
We strongly recommend this hotel because it was all the wonderful! Awesome relationship quality - price!!

“Not a bad hotel for the money but beware frosty-draws receptionist”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 September 2010

Although some reviewers have said it's quite far from the centre, it's actually as close as 12 minutes to Unions Brau in Max Weber Platz outside of rush hour, and you'll soon figure out the (regular) buses.

It's okay for the money but receptionist Andrea was cold, unfriendly and abrupt throughout - and got worse the more I challenged her about it throughout our 4 day stay. The thing was I booked and paid in advance (Expedia) for two suites, but when we arrived they put us in two ordinary rooms until I insisted on a move the second night. They haven't reponded to my emails, so customer service standards are ludicrous (but then it's Russian owned - what can you expect?). Expedia washed their hands of this - which is very disappointing from them - in effect, if you don't get what you paid for, Expedia won't help you. To be honest there's not a huge difference between rooms and suites, but that's not the point. The hotel is okay and good value, but just somewhere to kip really. I wouldn't eat or drink there. (But there's a nice Greek taverna just underneath the highway). Overall, I'd give it 6/10 - you'll get better quality and location but expect to pay much more as well

“Certainly nice & clean but far from being a 4 star hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 July 2010

I just came back from a 6 nights stay at Eurosuites Munich. On the one hand, the room is spacious, very clean (excellent housekeeping), rich breakfast and a friendly staff. On the other hand, the receptionists are unfriendly, there is neither a bell boy nor a ramp to the entrance (no matter how old or weak you are you have to carry your own bags). With regard to the rooms, there are no blackouts or even dark curtains so the sunlight will blind you as early as 5:30 AM. Moreover, there is only one armed chair in the room though there are two guests staying ! There is no mirror (except in the washroom). The hotel has neither a reception (it's just a small desk) nor a lobby (the breakfast area) let alone a swimming pool or anything you normally associate with a 4 star hotel.

“Impressive value on the East side of Munich”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 July 2010

This hotel is very easy to find on the east side of Munich, just inside the city limits. It mostly caters to business travelers and is in a strip of 3 hotels, one of which is a "comfort suites" and I can't remember the other one. We got a killer rate of 55 euros on a Wednesday night for a double room, which was HUGE (for Europe). It had really high ceilings, and electric window shades that kept the room nice and cool at night. The bed was standard (comfortable, nothing to write home about). The staff was outstanding, guiding us through the public transportation system and returning a pillow we had forgotten in our room. Very, very clean and a business park-type neighborhood.

Don't park in the garage, they want 15 euros/day or something...park around the corner for free (and take your GPS with you for god's sake).
