We arrived understanding the location and logistics of the getting into the city thanks to the extremely helpful reviews of others - we used only public transport which was convenient and easy to navigate. We had quite a long wait to check-in despite this being in a peak season as there was only one person checking people in and out and managing requests for information.
The apartment was spacious and the kitchen had a sink, kettle and fridge but no cups or spoons or cooking utensils, plates etc. When we enquired why we had no cups and spoons to make coffee (given coffee and tea making facilities are usual) we were told we could not have these without paying another EURO20. We finally managed to beg two cups from the bar (they would not give us a spoon) and made do but were extremely disappointed with the lack of flexibility shown. While we can understand that there might need to be an extra charge to have access to full kitchen facilities we believe that if this extends to including making a cup of coffee in your room that it needs to be made more transparent at the time bookings are made as it is fairly unusual. As frequent travellers this is our first experience of being asked to pay EURO 20 to use two coffee mugs and one spoon.
Recommend visiting the BMW plant and booking the factory tour - great cafes and totally memorable.
