This is not a luxury hotel, but it is a very good value hotel.
Room: We had a superior room with a tiny balcony that overlooked the quiet courtyard/parking area behind the hotel. The room was quiet, the bed comfortable, shower always hot with good pressure. The desk was a nice large work space. The room also had a safe, hair dryer, mini bar (everything 1 euro), coffee/tea set, free bottle of mineral water (and Santa chocolates) on the first day, and lots of outlets for charging phones and laptops.
Staff: Everyone from front desk to breakfast room staff to housekeeping was friendly and hard working.
Breakfast: The free breakfast was a large buffet in a bright and pleasant room. The buffet included cold cereals, fruit, juices, yogurt, meats, cheese, fish, scrambled eggs, soft-boiled eggs, breads/rolls, and pastries. They also had a machine that made cappuccino, latte, espresso, etc.
Internet: Free wifi in the rooms and an internet corner with 1 computer and printer. Computer was slow but it worked.
Bar: Small bar serving alcohol at the front desk.
Location: Two blocks to Hauptbahnhoff. Lots of convenience stores and Turkish kebab restaurants nearby. Pharmacy across the street. There is also a very large and tasty food court in the train station for a quick meal. Also a short walk to Marienplatz. I did see strip clubs but never felt unsafe and there were police patrolling near the train station.
