We booked this hotel as part of our trip to the Christmas Markets in Munich. Whilst not exactly central, it is situated only a 10 minute walk from edge of the City Centre in an extremely quiet neighbourhood, which very much belies it's close proximity to the City!
We booked an executive room which was clean, spacious, extremely comfortable, and very warm (we actually slept with the heating off and the window open in the middle of December and it was still plenty warm enough!). The bathroom housed a full size bath, huge vanity sink unit, and shower cubicle, with the toilet being in a separate cubicle by the entrance to the room.
The hotel bar, albeit slightly on the expensive side, was a great place to have a drink prior to evenings outs, and likewise for a nightcap upon our return. Behind the bar was the restaurant area which offered an extensive breakfast selection of fresh fare to suit most palettes. They also serve lunch and dinner but we did not avail ourselves of those options.
If there were any faults, they were extremely minor - on the Sunday morning, breakfast was a little chaotic (but then it was the last weekend before Xmas and I think the majority of the hotel guests decided to breakfast at 09:30 .... patience required!); the bath towels were a tad worn and a little small, and finally, our tea/coffee in the room wasn't replenished unless we asked and then only after we asked twice.
We tend to judge a hotel on whether we would willingly return again - in this instance, we will definitely return, it's quiet, warm, clean, modern and comfortable .... a great stay and everything you could ask for!
