Spent 3 nights here in July 2011 on a stag night!

Stayed in a 8 person dorm with bunk beds and ensuite bathroom. The hostel had been either just renovated or just well kept, but everything was in tiptop condition, something that is not often the case with hostels! :)

Breakfast was included in the price and could be described as "typical hostel breakfast": nothing fancy but enough to keep you going until lunch time.

It is easy to reach as it's located just a few minutes walking from the main railway station!

We stayed at the mixed dorm (10 beds) for 7 days. We would like to report all the information about Jaeger's hostel Munich on website jaegershotel.de and Hostel world.com is incorrect.

1. The Room looks like a prison.
2. Rusted old beds always creaking.
3. One small window.
4. No reading lights.
5. Only 3 wall socket for 10 people.
6. Very dirty floor and walls.
7. Smelly toilet.
8. 30 sec. shower. With stupid button.
9. Very noisy, loud bass music from 23 PM until 4AM every day. Couldn’t sleep.

The most people stayed just for couple of hours. They always come at the middle of the night and leave early morning.

We were confused when we arrived. And we tried to clear up the misunderstanding. But on the reception desk they told as all room the same and like on the web site’s pictures. We tried to move to another hostel but they rejected our petition to return the money back.

We strongly DON’T recommend Jaeger's Munich!

I really enjoyed my stay here, in a private room. The room was small but arranged well so you don't notice it. Room was also very clean. Breakfast was at a small cost but wasn't great and the corner of the street seamed really dodgy. But overall a fairly good stay except for the wifi which doesn't work on level 3&4

These are the good bits of this hostel: great staff, great location (less than 2 minutes walk away from the Central Station), no curfew. During my visit, wifi for the 4th & 5th floor are not working but that doesn't deter you folks from using your laptop at the community area on the ground floor. The place is Jaegermaester theme but if u think that this is a teenager's hang-out hostel, think again because the policy here is to keep all the noise down after 11pm. Because I'm staying at the single room, I wouldn't know how the shared rooms r like. That being said, the bed in the room is awesome, the best that I have used over 2.5 months of travel. There's even LCD panel in the room (flashpacker now) with towel provided. The wardrobe is rather redundant because it''s not wide enough to accommodate a backpack or a large luggage. The bathroom facility is awesome even with heated towel rail & its own shower cubicle instead of those body sticking shower curtain that's rampant in a hostel. The room rate is fair market value, hovering close to 60 Euros. Commendable stay.
