Lobby was really nice and stylish. First thing we needed to do when we arrived to our room was to clean up the toilet seat. Big minus for that!
Bed was kind of hard to sleep on and On the morning after taking a shower we noticed that the hair dryer didn't work.
So we went to the reception to ask someone to fix it and also mentioned about untideness in the bathroom. The girl in the reception was rude. No sorrys at all, just told that she will ask someone to take a look at the hair dryer.

We came back to our hotel before midnight and the hair dryer did still not work. Went back to reception and a really friendly man gave us a new room. Big plus for that.

We didn't eat breakfast because we concidered it extremly expencive. 17€/ person.

Location was ok, 10min walk to metro-station. With bus nr. 50 it took just 1min to metro-station and it went every 10 min.

Although this hotel may be further out of the city than others, it is only a 10min walk from Alte Heide station which is only a few stops from the Marienplatz Station in the centre of Munich. The price is also reflected in it's location, with it being a bit cheaper than those in the city centre but it certainly means you getter better value for money!

We stayed in one of the 'older' design rooms, but this was still up to a standard not far removed from Premier Inn style places in the UK and the rooms were incredibly clean. The pictures on their official website do not do the room justice in the slightest. The staff in the hotel were incredibly helpful and friendly too, helping my friend search for his lost jumper and ringing a bar in the city to act as a German speaker in a search for a lost camera only added to the friendly conversation we had with the bar staff the night before.

Another review mentions a Lufthansa bus, and I agree that this is very useful if you have just arrived in Munich and don't know where to go. For about 18euros each we had a return ticket that takes you from the airport and drops you right by an underground station one stop from Alte Heide (Or a 25min walk to the hotel) and it runs every 20minutes.

My friend and I travelled to Munich in half term to watch Bayern play at the Allianz Arena and spend a couple of days exploring the city, this hotel was better than we expected and perfect for the trip.

Positives:
- Extremely good value for money.
- Very clean and contemporary.
- Really helpful and chatty staff.
- An individual receipt when leaving your luggage after check out (A bit more reassuring than just putting your bags in an unattended room with a bunch of other unmarked bags)

Negatives:
- No safety deposit boxes in the room.
- It might be a bit too far out of the way for children under 10.
- My bed was slightly squeaky (But, to be fair, my friend's wasn't and I think I'm scraping the barrel for a 3rd negative)

Great modern hotel, 400m to the metro station on the direct line to Marienplatz where all the sites can be easily accessed. 50 euros in a cab from the airport or the Munich transport links are perfect. Rooms were modern, bright and clean, great for a Citybreak or overnight business trip, The Front desk couldn't do enough for us. Downsides = Bar staff were a bit rude (heyhoe) and not much choice to eat locally but the Italian on the next block is well worth a visit if you don’t fancy downtown! Recommend for all! We got 3 nights for the price of two on Expedia which was also a bonus!

Superhit Part
Location - Close to my business area. Easy to manage especially when it was snowing and was really very cold
Breakfast - Excellant breakfast spread. Quite tasty and interesting
Supermarket very closeby (50 meters), where you can buy what you want

Average Part
Expensive for a no frills hotel. Could have been 25% cheaper
Internet charges also quite expensive
Rooms pretty basic & minimalist

Floppart
Absolutely small room for the price that you pay. Single bed, space to walk 2 to 3 steps. thats it!
Bulky CRT TV in such a small room. Having a LCD would have reduced the strain on the eye and created more space
Poor choice of English language channels on TV
No toileteries at all..You need to carry everything from brush to comb
No Drinking Water. You need to pick up water from supermarket as the washbasin is not potable.
No gym - A business hotel must have a gym to help you feel better. No gym & snowing outside meant you were without exercices for days running, making you feel annoyed
Hardly any vegetarian food for Dinner. Suffer if you are a veg person.
