We stayed at the Rilano over the first Oktoberfest weekend. The hotel is not convenient for tourism, as it is far from the center and a 15mn walk from the nearest subway station (there is a bus line stopping close by though). The rooms are small and average quality - we stayed in the "left wing", it seems the other wing is newer but we didn't actually go there. There were few facilities in the room: no minibar, iron or shoe cleaning. 3 english channels available only, all news related. Common spaces were nice and modern, and the breakfast was good. For half the price I would have expected it, but not for almost 250€ per night.

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights during the first octoberfest weekend.
From the hotel website, I was expecting a renovated room, which was not the case. The furnishing was dated, the (plastic) curtains/blinds had a few holes... To be fair, the cleaningness was superb, but I believe that is the standard for all German hotels.
The hotel was 2 bus stops away from the Ubahn, which was not convenient when it rained or late in the evening.
Overall, I did not feel we got our money's worth.

An elegant hotel with a sophisticated luxury! When I arrived at the hotel the staff was so friendly and helpful. The check-in was fast, and the staff showed me to my suite and helped me with the luggage! The suite was spacious and had a modern and elegant interior and design. When I entered the room I was welcomed with a petite plate of fruit and petits fours, and of course, a welcome card. The wardrobe had a clean and modern design in dark wood, and the size was surprisingly large. The bathroom was modern and ad good space. The bathtub had a nice size.

In the suite there is two televisions, one work desk of good size, a sitting group in the living room ++. There is an extra toilet in the entrance area and a huge and comfy bed!

I would said that this is one of the best choices for business and leisure travellers, though the hotel isn’t in the centrum of Munich. There is no problem of getting to the centrum.
The U-bahn (Metro) is a 7 min walk from the hotel, and it only takes 13 minutes with the U-bahn and you are in the middle of Munich centrum!

The only minus is the view from the suite and the distance to centrum, the last mentioned is only a problem when you are tired and stuffed with delicious Bavarian food. Since the top floor is located in the 5th floor, you can see rooftops of some business buildings.

All in all i want to give this hotel 9 out of 10 points.

I will defiantly recommend this hotel to other business and leisure travellers.

Great location near highway, very nice and clean rooms, quiet surrounding, supermarket in the next building, tasty breakfast and coffee. One of the best hotels I have visited recently.
