This is the fifth time my husband and I are staying there. It is wonderfully ZEN, very clean and the location is perfect. Remote enough to be nice and quiet but still close enough to the city center. We will be back!

I stayed in a standard room for 2 nights whilst on a business trip and was quite pleased with the quality of the hotel.
The bathroom is in great condition, seems to be newly fitted and the buckethead shower is a nice touch.
I was staying in a room overlooking the street on the 1st floor and there is a slight ambient noise creeping into the room. The major flaw I could find was with the bedding. The duvet was a bit too small, but the real pain was with the pillows. They were enormous and I found it impossible to get comfortable with them propping my head up too severely.
Another slight complaint was when the cleaner forgot to close my windows and having this happen during the end of November, you can imagine how frosty the room became! I don't believe I smell 'that' atrocious, either...
The location is just a short walk away from the U-Bahn on the U2 line, which is great for getting around the city.
Breakfast was good and the staff were very hospitable.
Booked the hotel by chance and ended up in a Suite. Very nice place, recently renovated bathroom, flat TV and free internet provided.
check-in was very efficient and friendly - parking garage is a bit of a walk and costs 8 euros/day.
Breakfast was good but staff was overwhelmed by the amount of people showing up around 8am. Here maybe additional staff would help clear the chaos.
Location is convenient and close to two subway stations - quite a few restaurants and bars around the corner.
Overall a pleasant experience. Hotel was sparsely furnished but adequate. Location convenient to Schwabing and about 1 1/2 blocks from the Ubahn stop. Rooms moderate size. Relatively quiet even though we had a street facing room. Breakfast was very fine - with the usual continental selection of breads, meats, and condiments - plus good scrambled eggs, bacon, and local sausage. Best shower we have experienced in Europe; strong flow, large shower head, and plenty of room. Service very friendly and rooms cleaned nicely. Biggest problem was the terrible pillows - lumpy and very uncomfortable. Asked for traditional feather pillows, but they did not have them. Internet via ethernet cable and pretty slow. Note that renovation works continue through December 2010 but only from 9am-4pm and these did not bother us. Avoid rooms 10-14 as they are right outside the breakfast area.
Rooms are small and on the trendy side, but functional. Mattress was a foam block, which didn't encourage sleeping.
Breakfast is typical German but as a whole rather thin on options.
Warning: Fahlmeyerstrasse can be a bit noisy until 11pm, so if you've got the windows open in the summer (mandatory with no a/c) you're going to hear cars and motos right clear. Otherwise the neighborhood is quite nice - Schwabing - and excellent (expensive) restaurants abound.
There's other hotels in the area for just a bit more money, which I will try next time.
