Stayed here in June 2008. Great bar on lower levels, very decent breakfast, very central, spacious clean rooms - really enjoyed the space, and fluffy duvets and pillows.
had been camping so this was luxury!

Me & my friends stayed in a 4 share room in The Haus International. As many reviews have previously stated don't come here expecting 5 star accommodation because its not. Lets not beat around the bush here this is a backpackers hostel. Having said that the price reflects all of this. We had an awesome time in Munich & down at the Oktoberfest so much so were coming back in 2012. The thing is The Haus had its part to play in the fun. They serve beer, they have a cheesy nightclub and the beds are comfortable. What more could you want on a stag do ?

A couple of weak points, some of the front desk staff are pretty invisible at times and with the shower you have to press a button and water comes out for 20 seconds, it stops. Then you have to press it again. Really gets on your nerves that. I've stayed in much worse hostels than this on my travels, its also in a quiet area instead of being in a nasty part of town. If your'e looking for somewhere to have a laugh with your mates but not spend the earth. This will be perfect.

I stayed here with a group of 10 friends in two rooms for Oktoberfest. We were all impressed by this hostel. The rooms were simple, on the smaller side, but very clean and comfortable. There was a little noise but this it to be expected at a hostel. The level of security was impressive, you must have a pass to get back into the hostel at a certain time, and there are security guards that check this. The included breakfast was also good. Overall, this hostel was good value for money.

Clean rooms and shared services, pleasant and filling breakfast, friendly and efficient staff. Hostel-type accommodation which does what it says on the tin.
