We stayed here three nights during Oktoberfest 2011 so prices were pretty steep but we had a good experience! Our room was newly renovated and everything was very clean. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is a bit skeezy but it is close to the train station and there are some great doner kabab places nearby where you can get a good, cheap meal! We could easily walk to Oktoberfest and the Marienplatz from our room which was a nice bonus as well!

Great location - 1 minute walk from one of the exits of the main train station. Escalator takes you up as well - that means if you've got roll on luggage, can pull on the escalator - which goes 2 ways.

Loved the location as the trains were the local trains as well as the international train station. Easy to move around within Munich & also take the train to other cities. I took the train to Salzburg for a day trip & the proximity to the train station made it so convenient that I didn't need to wake up extra early or arrive super late back at the hotel.

The rooms are clean - request for rooms not facing the road - the first night, I was kept awake as there is a sports bar across the road & there was a football match, so couldn't get any sleep as I'm a light sleeper. Requested to change rooms the next day & thankfully, got a room with no view but it was quiet.

I stayed 2 nights after a business trip and it went well. The neighborhood is a little scuzzy (casinos, strip clubs, train station) but there are also many things open late. I would definitely stay there again if the prices were at the same level as other nearby hotels. Front desk staff was very helpful.

The hotel rooms are nice, and it is renovated beautifully comparing to the price.
But, there was no internet in our room. there was simply no signal, only in the hall. this was very important for us and we wanted to change the room. no other room was available.
We then agreed with the person at the from desk that we will be able to surf the internet from the hall without extra charge, but when checking out - we were asked to pay! the desk guy argued with us and was very impatient. that was not pleasant at all.
The rooms are not very clean, beneath the bed there is tons of dust, the window was small, and the cups and coffee was not cleaned and refilled every day.
Location is close to center, but the neighborhood is not so good, not for the sensitive soul.
bottom line - I am not coming back.
