You can enjoy you breakfast in the semi-basement ( good breakfast anyway) , i have stay at 8th floor ( wireless doesn t work - only at the reception ) ,but good staff . It s also good for business travel and quaiet ) . I don t know if it s ok for a family travel , because i was alone with business . About swimingpool i can say nothing because i haven t seen her.

the guy at the reception was v rude. he didnt even look at us. he focused on his computer, didnt even tell us where is the lift & which floor is the room. Most of the staff doesnt acknowledge you & rude when u asked them help. Xtra charge to use sauna didnt mention on website. Breakfast v bad - on sunday i had cold scramble egg & beans. it was horrible i cant eat afterwards after paying so much for the hotel. Television - flat sreen of 20 inc but images were size of small laptop. couldnt enlarge the pict. my husband had to go near the screen to watch the football match....also they gave only 1 key. when i asked for another one, the recept woman was v mean & rude. at the end we didnt want to ask for anything & wait when the 1 wk wud b over....i felt sorry the policy was non-refundable as i wanted to go to another hotel. travelling frm berlin for 6 hrs on the train & reached the hotel with bad welcome. as we had a fanatastic holidays in berlin. to b short i dont recommend tht hotel to anyone.

stayed here for 3 nights at the end of november to catch the xmas markets.
the staff were ok, the rooms were a good size with a balcony, wardrobe, bedside cabinets, table etc. found the beds really comfortable although a double room ended up as a twin, two beds pushed together,showers were powerful and hot.we paid for a single as well for my daughter and she also ended up with a twin which was an added bonus.
breakfast was brilliant with plenty of choice from english breakfast ie bacon, egg scrambled or fried beans toast or rolls. continental breakfast was cold meats and cheese with rolls. plenty of coffee,tea orange juice etc.
the location was ok just 2 stops from main station or marienplatz on the u bahn then a 10 min walk to hotel.
down sides were no coffee/tea facilities in rooms, we had to go down stairs to use machine 1 euro for coffee etc which tasted like dish water so wouldnt advise that.the lift is small just enough room for 2 people.
overall a good hotel for what we paid

What this hotel does it does well. We were here for Oktoberfest and considering the price of accommodation in Munich we did quite well. Honestly I was expecting something smaller than what we had. You have to expect to pay through the roof for Oktoberfest. It was expensive yes but so was all the accommodation in Munich for Oktoberfest and most of it was considerably worse. Breakfast was included and was actually really good. There was four of us sharing the room and yet we did get a little bit of privacy still when needing to use the bathroom. There was a door separating the foyer/very short hallway and the bathroom area from the bedroom. So two doors between your bathroom experience and the bedroom. Oktoberfest and everything was actually quite easy to get to from here.
So again to reiterate, it was not big and it cost a hell of a lot but everything else was extremely expensive and for what we paid I was surprised with what we got.
