This hotel is near the Isartorplatz to the east of the old center of the city. The U-bahn/S-bahn underground station is a 5-10 minute walk. A tram stop is within 5 minutes. It is about a 20-30 minute walk to the Marienplatz. The hotel is located on a medium density residential street. It is relatively quiet for a city center street.

The hotel is of modern design and about six or seven stories tall. Many rooms have private balconies as did ours. The rooms are simple but pleasant and had all necessary features. The baths were efficient and modern. The rooms were clean and comfortable. A wall of windows faces the balcony. There is no evident air conditioning. At the time of our visit it was unseasonably warm, and the hotel provided us with large table fans.

There is a large pleasant breakfast room with the usual fare.

Most of the staff were very pleasant, particularly helpful, and of course spoke fluent English. There was a night clerk who was somewhat grumpy, but we only had to pick up keys from him.

We would definitely stay here again.

Medium-sized 3 bed hotel built in (I guess) 70s, so rather concrete-boxy. My room double for single use) was a good size with comfortable bed, TV etc, shower, not bath. In fact everything needed for a 1 night business stay, but if you were looking for soft furnishings / charm you'd be disappointed. Helpful reception and good buffet breakfast in the c. 90 euro price. For Munich city centre and v close to S-Bahn and end of main shopping/entertainment area, that's excellent value.
