Location wise it is great. Walking distance to main train station and Karlsplatz and Marienplatz.

Staff are really friendly and very helpful.

We booked 2 nights for €145 incl breakfast. I was really impressed with the room for that price - especially if you only need a base for your stay.

If you want perks like a bar/restaurant or other services this is not the place. But it well serviced our needs and I am usually quite fussy.

Great value for money.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel at the beginning of October during the Oktoberfest for one night. We chose it because of the good location - the hotel is within walking distance of the main train station, the centre of Munich and shopping areas.
We were lucky to get a spacious room on the 4th floor facing the court. It was quiet but the rooms facing the street can get noisy. Our room had no air-conditioning which might be an issue in summer. The reception staffs were courteous and friendly, mainly the lady with French as mother tongue. Breakfast which was included in the price was great with a variety of bread, fruits, yogurt, cheese and cooked eggs.
My only gripe was that we paid EUR 260 for one night but it seems to be a usual price for a 3* hotel in the centre of Munich during the Oktoberfest. Having said all that, it was safe, clean and convenient and I would recomend it for a short stay im Munich.

We stayed here for 2 nights arriving and departing by train. Location was perfect for that and the city center was in walking distance. We had 2 single rooms - one facing the street and the other the backyard. The street facing room was very noisy with yelling from bars and heavy traffic during most of the night. The room facing the backyard was much more quiet. Breakfast was nice.

The location is great especially if you travel on foot and use public transportation. It is less than 5 minutes from the Munich main train station. The hotel was also clean, with a 24 hours front desk coverage. Breakfast was good, and I believe they will make eggs to order.

The negatives include the the noisy nightlife on this street. There are bars and strip clubs across the street.. While this is not necessarily a problem if you do not frequent them, it is a noisy environment. Ask for a room that faces the back. The hotel itself is old, and my room had prior smoker inhabitants. The bathroom lights also did not work, but was not a real issue since the bathroom had a large opaque window. .
