Stayed here for two nights on a business trip during the very cold december snow period. First the good points. The location is OK within walking distance of the town center and the staff were friendly. The bad points: I had a room divided in two parts on the 5th floor with two single beds each seperated by a little corridor. The toilet was at one end one and the shower at the other end. The radiators hadn't been turned on in the room so it was pretty cold in there. One of them I turned on immediately and tried to figure out how to turn on the other. I told reception and they said someone would be up in 10 minutes and said the switch was hidden under a fixed desk. Nobody arrived at all but I did manage to get it turned on eventually by crawling under the dest. It took all night to heat up the room. The next day the TV which was near my bed from the night before wouldn't work anymore but a new TV had been installed in the other part of the room which did work but was impossible to see unless I changed my bed to the other room and this was the part that wasn't really warm as I never got the radiator up to the right temperature. This was annoying.
Breakfast was an extra €14 which in my opinion was vastly overpriced. The breakfast was not great with the eggs and bacon looking very upappetising and the coffee tasted pretty awful. The bread and cereal and juices were good. But definately not worth €14.Its better to go out to a coffee shop for much better coffee and cakes etc. Overall the hotel was OK but was a bit upinspiring as was the breakfast room.

Have just returned from 3 days in Munich - what a fantasitc place, paris may have the eiffle tower but Munich has the buzz. The Hotel could not be faulted. It was ideally lcoated and the staff were very helpfull, did not have b/fast as we were up and out most morning. Loved the shops, the markets and the whole city. The Pub Rest were great and the prices were very good. What I really was impressed with was how cheap it was to travel from city to city by train really great value. I will defo be back again - maybe sooner than later.....

If I could remember the name of the first place / first night, I'd be writing what a HOLE that was. Then for what amounted to not all that much more I found this place. The single was so cute, with slanted ceiling as I was on the Top floor. Oh and the Elevator works just fine. Subway and Tran are just down the block, short walk. Staff were great and helpful, as I do not speak German. Location is in the University area and there is a great big Park just blocks away. I would think Spring would an Ideal time for the Park, but my friend (German) had us walk through a lot of it, telling me about her University days. Nice place to stay !!!!

I was travelling with 2 of my friends and so we had expected an extra bed in a standard room. It was lovely to find that instead we had a large room with an ajoining areaa for the third person. The staff were so friendly and helped us to find our feet and to book our tours which essentailly made our break! Especially the girl who helped us find another Xmas market when the others were closed! The beds were so comfy and the pub down the road which they had recommended was excellent. Our only trouble was that breakfast was far too expensive so we had to go else where.
