very good locations and service, garage in the hotel, very good breakfast, restaurant is not at the same level, the dinner was rather poor, much better in the neighboroughs.

We stayed here in early January and had a very pleasant stay. The staff spoke excellent English, were very helpful and efficient. The room was clean and nicely done out, the mini packets of Haribo on the pillows were a nice touch! The hotel is close to the station (and the U-Bahn connections), and close to the Octoberfest field also. However, it's maybe 20 minutes walk to Marienplatz where most of the tourist attractions are. The hotel wasn't cheap, but then it wasn't expensive either. I didn't pay for breakfast, and it sounded quite expensive when we checked in (there are plenty of good coffee places en route to marienplatz). I'd recommend this hotel.

Tip - there's a very nice restaurant just round the corner (turn right out of the door, next right, and it's on the right), and the Augustina beer house is close by also - good place for an end of the day beer.

My girldfriend and I stayed here from the 1st to 4th of January. For the small price we paid, it was a very pleasant hotel. Decent sized room, great location in the city centre, mannerly staff - ticks all boxes. I would have no problem recommending this hotel. I did not see the gym or the sauna so I cannot comment on them.

The only good thing I can say about this hotel is the fact that it was close the the train station. The hotel put us in a smoking room first night even after we explicitly booked a nonsmoking room. The room had two beds and one of them had a massive stain on one of the blankets. They did not bring us a new one. The room reeked of cigarette smoke. The next day after 2 hours of arguing they moved us... to another smoking room. This one did not smell AS BAD. at this point we gave up arguing and kept that room. The hotel staff were not helpful with a smile. We liked munich as a city but hotel had much to be desired.
