First the good stuff. The hotel is very clean, in what seemed like a safe neighborhood, the staff was extremely helpful, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. The problem is that this hotel is somehow a four-star hotel and for the life of me, I couldn't figure out why! Having stayed at four-stars (as well as 2-, 3-, and 5- star hotels around Europe), this property truly shouldn't have been classified as a 4-star. After staying here, we then stayed at a 3-star in Ingolstadt that was as good as or better than this property. The prices were definitely more for a four-star than a three-star, therefore made this a HIDEOUS value proposition. Our junior suite was €235 and my daughter's comfort room was €175. If my Jr Suite was the price of the comfort room (or even a little more), then I'd have been much more satisfied.

We have stayed in several other hotels in Munich and this one is one of the best. Location was a 10 minute walk from U4/U5 Max Weber station. We arrived about 10AM and our room was ready in 10 minutes which was a nice surprise. Rooms were small but very clean and priced appropriately. Staff was great and so was the breakfast. We also liked Exquisit but it was booked and is typically more expensive.

The hotel is near Europaplatz, 300m by foot to the tram 19 that in 4 stops permit you to be in the city center.
The hotel has also the tram 18 in front of it, and it's at 200m from the U2 line stop (underground - Metro).
The hotel is characteristic, and the entrance seems a pub.
The room in which I was it's very nice, not too big, and not too small. It contains the bed (queen size), the tv set, minibar and also a table with 2 chairs.
The bathroom is a little small, just the minimum size to include the shower box, the wc and the washbasin.
The hotel is clean the personnel very professional and kind. I asked for some information and they provided me the best possible solution.

Excellent service from the moment we walked through the door. A gentleman working in the adjacent bar/lounge area all but vaulted the bar when he saw us approach the (then) empty lobby desk. The personnel was extremely helpful with local information and suggestions. Our room was lovely and very clean. The breakfast (included) was beautifully presented in an elegant setting. We only stayed one night - but it more than met our expectations.
