I can't really recommend this hotel.
The hotel itself is pleasant enough, and the staff were helpful and efficient. My standard double room was not large, but it was adequate. The price was moderately affordable. There was a sauna (& fitness?) facility that I didn't explore.
Why my negativity? Well, mainly for the location. It doesn't seem to be near to anything. The end of the nearest U-bahn line is about 15 minutes' walk away. The city centre is about 10 minutes' ride along that line. I was attending a conference at another hotel - there are several near that U-bahn station.
Presumably as a function of the location, the hotel wanted an incredible EUR 21 for breakfast. I didn't partake. There is a bakery about 10 minutes' walk down Effnerstrasse which is perhaps the nearest alternative.
Oh, and just to make the sense of Isolation complete, wifi access costs extra, too, and the range of TV channels was nothing special.
Would I go back to this hotel from choice? Sadly, no.
