Admittedly Munich is an expensive place when it comes to hotels but we would rather stay a little bit away from the city center than come back to this hotel.
Definitely what you are paying for here is the central location and not the quality of the rooms. Everything looked old and worn, the so called bathroom was a joke. Toilet, sink, and shower tub were so crammed, you could wash your hands and put your feet in the shower tub while sitting on the loo. With the bathroom door closed you get claustrophobic.
The cellar of the old house has been transformed into the breakfast room, allowing for little day light and not very inviting for a nice morning coffee.
All in all not recommendable!

I stayed in the hotel August 15 to 20, 2010: The rooms are very small and old, bathroom was extremely small, not enough water coming out of the shower (but with changing temperatures), quite a challenge to wash hair.... breakfast was poor (nothing fresh), service unpolite (especially the lady at the reception), and extra charge to park the car in front of the house in free space. Internet costs 8€/hour.

we are a party of 9 and requested 3 rooms taking 3 people in each, at a cost advertised on the internet of 70euros/room/night. We were crammed into extremely tiny rooms. One of the rooms was actually a single room where they added 2 fold out beds - however 1 of the beds didn't even have the room to open up. To be fair, an error on the part of the booking agent meant that the hotel was not expecting 9 of us. However, despite this, we were notified upon arrival that the actual rate for each room was 155euros. When we said we'd find another hotel we were threatened with having our credit card charged for the stay as the cancellation period had expired. We couldn't fit our luggage into the rooms, they were so small. The rooms smelt strongly of cigarettes. The bathrooms were extremely small. Upon checkout we were charged double the advertised rate for parking. Overall, this was a most unpleasant experience.

Stayed for my fisrt time in München. I choose this hotel by web site a bit afraid , 'cause cheaper than others in the same city. Anyway, it was a wonderful surprise when I arrived: this is a small place, clean, with a good localization ( despite front of a large street on the front, we can not hear any noise in the apartment! ). Friendly recepcionists and a "normal" breakfast with bread, orange juice ,cheeses and , of course, coffee and milk . Definetilly, It was a good experience and I recommend.
