Perfectly located to visit munich downtown: Only 5 min walk away from the deutsche museum ( a must), 5 min walk from isartor train station (if you just want to visit the centre you dont need it though). The airport is about 30 min away by train, get off at isartor. Rooms are cosy and warm. Price was ok (120 euro per night). If you go to munich, do not miss the hofbrauhaus brewery, it's just great!

Wanted a friendly, clean hotel near the old town, Transportation and this is perfect! Stayed here for 4 nights after having stayed here 5 years ago. It's a great spot, skip the breakfast for 15 euro and go across street to grab coffee and croissants for much less. Good bed, bath and amenities, super clean and slightly trendy and quiet! Loved it !

Two hundred meters from Isartor and ten minutes walk from Marienplatz, in a quiet location, you can find this small design hotel , minimalist and very sophisticated.
Actually the opposite of the chain's business big hotels.
Every detail is carefully chosen, from decor of the lobby, up to cups for breakfast.
The rooms are quite small and basic, the breakfast of biological type.
Very handy for easy walk to the center of the city.
Recommended only for those who think that the true luxury is style.
Is a tree stars hotel, a little expensive for the category, but is a experience you must do.

We stayed here during Oktoberfest as it was very expensive and difficult to find a good hotel during this period. The rooms are comfortable, though small and currently there is construction going on next door - this means loud construction and jackhammer noises - the lot next door looks like there has been a recent demolition so we're not sure how long this will be going on. Weekends the construction stops but the rest of the week expect noise from around 10am through the rest of the day. The breakfast is really good but service otherwise is just average. We left our room at midday one day only to return in the evening and find it wasn't serviced (even though we specifically mentioned that it required service at reception).
