My Girlfriend and I stayed in this Hotel on our Euro Trip, and we found Munich to be great, however this hotel had lots of cheeky extra charges....
We found that our nice double bed, was actually two single beds rammed next to each other. This I found out the hard way, as the night went out, cracks started to appear, not in our relationship might i add, just the beds coming apart, and then me falling into this gapping chasum. Funny how that interupted what was a good sleep.
We have been planning our Euro Trip each night and booking a hotel each night using the WIFI that hotels have, now this hotel did have an actual wired connection. The real shocker is that you are limited where you can sit, and you get 10 minutes free! After that its 5 euros an hour!!! Bearing in mind we paid pretty much nearly 100 already just for two single beds together, this is a real joke!
Then we also had to pay for parking, this was a bargain of 13 euros! Yeah thanks, since the website says there "might" be a charge, meaning this is not always the case! What a rip off! With 2 hours internet, the room, 2 breakfast's and parking this was nearly 150 euros worth. Etap costs 50 a night and most of the above additionals other than breakfast are FREE!
However, this hotel, and Germany as a whole, do without a doubt in my opinion the best breakfast ever! As i crossed the boarder i knew Germans eat plenty of meat, so every morning I have woken up kean on the thought of tons of meat, different meats, different cuts, flavours and textures of delicious meat. Mark Hotel have an excellent breakfast available, it does cost you 13 euros, and its got almost every breakfast food possable, not just meat either, and its all you can eat. I had about 3 platefulls of all kinds of pork, bacon, ham, sausage, peperoni, egg, ceral, yoghurt, pretzals, cakes, crossiants, all washed down with loads of coffe and fruit juice, yet the meat selection brings back fond memories.
Room Tip: Tip 1, you pay for the internet in your room
