This little hotel is primarily a business traveler's hotel, situated in a residential area just southeast of the Munich city centre. Though not terribly remarkeable in its individual features, the service was excellent, the breakfast provided outstanding and the location was quiet and off the beaten path of the busy and noisy downtown area - particularly during Oktoberfest. Once you have the public transportation schedules down, it is easy to get from the hotel downtown and back - just 15 minutes or so. (you can get the schedules at any Tourist Information booth where you see the Green "i" displayed at bus/train stations, airports, main streets, etc.) As we stayed during Oktoberfest where hotels throughout the city were overpriced and overcrowded, this was a refreshing and lovely alternative, if you don't mind taking the T-bahn back and forth (which we didn't - cheap and safe and clean way to get around!) The young lady who checked us in and worked the evenings spoke excellent English and helped me with my German! The rooms are small by US standards, but good sized by European standards. Though decorated in 80s color schemes of lavender and grey, it was clean and comfortable and had a lovely view of the forest and fields nearby. Based on the price we got ($125 or so during Oktoberfest) I would stay here again.
