We needed a hotel near to the station for a late arriving overnight stop before heading to the mountains. The Praesident fit the bill perfectly. It was a 5 minute walk from the station and even arriving at nearly midnight, the reception staff were friendly and helpful.
The room itself was comfortable, spacious and well equipped albeit that it was a little anonymous in the style of most "business" hotels. Breakfast was excellent and the beer in the minibar was reasonably priced (not that we had it for breakfast!)
Overall it was good quality and good value for central Munich.
Room Tip: Rooms at the front of the hotel attract a little street noise but it is not excessive.
