Stayed at this accom for 3 nights from fri 18th Nov 2011. Pleasantly surprised, we requested a smoking room but had none available when checking in. As a travel agent I asked for their next best and was upgraded past a standard room.
Great facilities & fantastic breakfast (free of charge)....wide range between hot/cold and fruit breakfast. Friendly staff and their English is good. The transport for munich central is a 5 mins walk from the hotel & runs every 15mins.

The hotel is right next to the U Bahn "Frankfurter Ring", which is about 6 stops (or 15 min) from Munich Hbf. We arrived at the hotel very early at 7am and were pleasantly surprised that the hotel staff didn't let us wait and assigned us to a room immediately at no charge. The room came with complimentary LAN internet too. This allowed us the time to take a day trip to the breathtaking Neuschwanstein Castle and top it off with drinks and merry making at the Oktoberfest at night. It was easily the best day of our Europe trip.

Breakfast was very good compared to other European hotels. Asides from the usual bread, juices and coffee, the spread also included cereals and a selection of hams and cheese.

For BMW fans, there is a BMW showroom right across the hotel, which includes a cafe and gift shop as well.

Stayed here for 3 nights for Oktoberfest. Very clean, and right next to a subway station. The front desk people spoke English and were very helpful for figuring out the train routes etc. Rooms were small, but that seems to be the European standard. Don't miss the Greek resaurant about 3 blocks from this place and have a Dona sandwich. Also, do yourself a favor and check out the Neuschwanstein Castle. It's not too bad of a drive, and the landscape might be one of the most amazing I've ever seen.

This has been my 4th stay at this Hotel and finally I decided to write a short review on it. My first stay was for nearly a week back in Feb 2004 and my last one was just for 1 day on 24 July 2011. Rooms are just the right size with comfortable beds and a good bathroom attached. The small kitchenette with the hot plate and microwave is a nice touch in the rooms. Breakfast spread is also pretty good. The U Bahn station is just about 70 meters away which is just great as it makes connectivity by the local train really easy. One change of train takes you directly to Marienplatz or any other central part of Munich. Schwabing, English Garden and University area are also easily accessible by the U Bahn. Bus stop is also right in front of the Hotel. I would certainly stay here again.
