I have stayed her a few times and always found it acceptable if nothing exciting.

I have often had a room facing the railway but never found it a problem. I have been in summer and winter and found it neither too cold or too hot.

The big downside is it is quite a way out of town but there are regular trains. Not much to do around the hotel but there are restaurants if you walk over the railway and on into the few local shops.

All in all a perfect hotel for a short weekend in Munich

A stayed at this hotel in august. The hotel is quiet far away from the city center, but there is a train station near the hotel, 3 minutes walking, and in 15 minutes you are in the center of Munchen. The hotel staff will provide the necessary train tickets for you, and the tickets are not expensive at all. The hotel offers a parking garage, that you should use, because it is difficult to find parking places on the streets.
The room is spacious; I got a business friendly room, which offers any amenities you need and can expect in a four star hotel. Also the hotel offers free internet and free breakfast.
The breakfast is very good, one of the best I ate at this category of hotels.

If you don't have to be in the center of the city, the Park Inn is an option to consider. The hotel is just a couple of minutes' walk from the Johanneskirchen station which is about a 20-minute train ride from the airport.

The hotel is a bit tired looking, but the staff were very good. Check-in was smooth and the room was adequate. I stayed for one night and would consider staying here again. If you're a tourist, however, I suspect there are much better options in Munich.

My wife and I stayed at this Hotel for 1 week. I was very pleased with the many things it had to offer. Of course we had a rental car, and that was one quality of the hotel we enjoyed. They had a parking garage. Next the train station was just up the street. Since it can be a little difficult finding parking downtown Munich we just hopped on the train. Wonderful!!! Next they have a wonderful European breakfast in the morning and in the evening they have a nice restaurant. There were days when we were just tired from all the activities and did not feel like going out or try finding a nice place to eat. There was one just in the Hotel and was very quiet and good. There is also a Restaurant up the street on the corner. Nothing fancy, but still a fun place and the food is good. Then I was very pleased with the staff. Every time I had a question or needed help they were more than happy to help. I was very pleased. Over all I would Highly recommend this Hotel. Enjoy Bavaria!
