The hotel was comfortable, clean and warm. HOWEVER, my daughter and I arrived on a Sunday evening having flown from Vienna. WARNING... try not to arrive on a Sunday Evening, the Germans take their Sundays very seriously. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room, Room Service was not functioning, nothing open outside, it was trying to snow. So we had water and chocolates.. We had eaten well during the day, so it wasn't such a disaster. Breakfasts were, to us Australians, very good; we like bacon and eggs, so we were able to leave the pastries and numerous breads.for the other travellers. Beds were comfy, we also had a bath, furnishings were "country check". Quite a change. HINT- we tried "Ali Baba" next door for snack. Quite delicious, very cheap. Transport quite close, didn't mind the Strip Joint.
