not recommended, rude staff. Never again in this Hotel

The location is quite close to the main train station and easy to walk just about everywhere.
If you get too far... you just jump on the S Bahn to bring you back to the main. The hotel is
absolutely nothing fancy at all.... very very basic. But the receptionist were helpful and friendly and the buffet was plentiful. Being from Seattle, the coffee was fairly decent. We were able to get a back room so I feel it was very quiet. A street front room would not be so good. We walked to Oktoberfest in about 15 minutes and it was great. If you are good with the basics, a comfortable bed and pillow, very clean, minimal everything, you will like this place.

Very nice hotel in very slightly seedy area but close to station, and tram and bus routes. We felt perfectly safe (mature couple!) and found it very conveneient.
Room was at the back overlooking a pleasant courtyard so was very quiet; had a balcony and as it was very hot we needed to have the door open at night. No aircon but a fan was provided in the room. Everything very clean and room a reasonable size. Hotel has a lift. Breakfast was good with hot and cold food. Staff friendly and helpful and spoke english.

Spent 3 nights at this hotel. Room was well furnished. We had a non AC room but were provided with a fan.

Breakfast was nice and the staff in the dining hall were very courteous but the front desk staff were not so helpful. They even made a fuss about opening the main door late in the night so we could have a smoke.

Location wise it was nice, right next to the station and close to the main tourist area.
