Rooms are nice. Hotel is away from the city center. Only a Burger King near by, no other choice around. Taxi from the hotel to the airport was Euro 65. Without heavy suitcases you can take the train from the Airport and a 5 minute drive from the nearest train station to the hotel will cost you Euro 10. Without heavy luggage, it is cheaper to take the train. From the hotel to the city center is a combination of bus and train in about 25 minutes. The local German people are very nice and friendly. But the hotel Reception staff was a bit snooty. They act very busy and if you ask too many questions, they can be abrupt in their replies. Specially one Marian, while giving directions on how to get to the city, she answered the phone and angrily threw the clipboard in her hand onto the counter, with several guests standing there watching her tantrum. We stayed there for 2 nights and on the second day, we found our room was not cleaned nor towels changed although houskeeping seems to have come into our room and opened the windows to let the cold air in during the day. When after returning from the City in the evening, we pointed this out and asked for new towels to the front desk, there was no apology. On the other hand, the Breakfast room staff was very curtious and helpful and were always there to replanish the food. The breakfast for good. Will skip this place on our next visit and stay closer to the city center.
