Having stayed here before, my business associate n I arrived at the hotel at 11pm tired n exhausted without reservation at 11pm, after a 600+km drive from Italy over the Alps. We got ourselves 2 room for Euro 75 each incl breakfast. The German gentleman at the front desk was not just grouchy bcs i think we arrived just about when he was ending his shift - he was downright RUDE. I would recommend he joins the prison service or some other occupation other than the hotel world. Fortunately the young Italian colleague who took over the shift made up for it - friendly & professional. We had a last drink at the cosy bar at the In-house Thai restaurant n the Thai bar tender was equally cordial. By the way - the Thai restaurant serves very good Thai food - having a Thai chef makes all the difference. The rooms at this hotel are well appointed and spacious with great interior design - lots of power points for business traveller with gadgets. By the way - in true German fashion - the double beds are actually 2 single beds placed together.. The bathrooms are spacious - with a great bath tub - dont expect amenities. The breakfast buffet was a delight - lots of choices; to get freshly sqeezed orange juice is a nice touch of quality. The rooms do face the main road but the windows are double glazed and you have the option of lowering the shutter blinds by remote control. The hotel is located in a residential area; right next to the hotel are both a subway station (just a few stops to the main train station), as well as the suburban railway. If you come by car and parked in front of the hotel - you need to move your vehicle before 8am; alternatively try n park on the median strip on the main road. By the way - the hotel is only 2km from the Oktober Fest site !
