We stayed here as part of a Cosmos group tour and it was the worst hotel on the tour. First, smokers congregate at the entrance and the revolving door smells like a chimney. It was cool for August, but my window was open when I got there, and when I closed it the AC started blowing cold air. No matter which way I turned the knob, no warm air would come out. I could not get the room safe to work so went to the receptionist. The person just looked at me and did not want to help when I explained the AC problem and said to ‘open the window’ to turn off the AC, and that the heat was broke. She then said the room safes did not work and to use the safe at reception. For the shower, only ‘warm’ water temperature, no hot. Also, the 'free' internet did not work. Does nothing work here? And to add insult to injury, they tried to rip me off by saying I made a 2 euro call on my phone when I had not. Luckily the tour guide intervened for me.

We stayed at the Ambiance Rivoli two nights while visiting friends in Munchen. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. Our roon had a seperate sitting-area with a couch and two chairs. The bathrooms are nice, and it is easy to adjust the temperature in the rooms to the desired level. Good location with only 50 meters to both U-bahn and S-bahn, but at the same time the rooms are perfectly quiet. There is also a rather large park close by, perfect for morning runs. Good breakfast buffet. Paying far less than we would have for a similar hotel down-town, we think it was absolutely worth it to spend a few minutes on the U-bahn to get forth and back.

hotel located in the Harras area which is in the city centre, very close to the Metro station U-Bahn.
Rooms are good size and with all necessary amenities, Breakfast is great.
Staff very helpful especially the Night receptionist who helped me organising my journey from the hotel to the airport, he has put so much effort, and I could not thank him enough.
I would recommend this hotel to whoever is visiting munich either for business or for leisure.

The Hotel about 3,5 km away from the City Center, but is just 50 meters away from undergroung station allow you to reach the city center in less then 10 minutes, room are nice and spacious, all new and equipped with safe, minibar and Satellite TV. very large Bathroom fitted with Bathtub.

Very good selection for breakfast, all staff very friendly and helpfull.

definitely a place to come back for future visiti to the city.
