We stayed 2 nights in Hotel Cortiina when we visited Munich last July. It wasn't so easy to find a hotel locating in the centre of the old town and being nice and modern. Luckily finally found Cortiina!

The room was rather dark facing to the narrow street in the front of the hotel so it was not so quiet during the night, but that didn't really matter for me - if I'm tired i sleep anywhere. Otherwise the room was nice. There's even a bottle of scent to mist some lavender on the pillows to sleep well - nice idea!

The breakfast buffet was good. It's not a huge hall so it was a bit crowded in the morning, mainly business clients.

There's a valet parking - so no need to look for a parking place in the narrow one way streets of the old town.

Next time in Munich will chooce Cortiina again!

We stayed at the Cortiina for six nights in December 2011 in a two bedroom, two bath apartment with a kitchenette. The apartment was great to make our own coffee in the am, breakfasts, and dinner one of the nights. It was very clean, styishly decorated and functional. The location is fantastic! Although down the street from the Hofbrauhaus (ick), it's on the quieter side of the Marienplatz and great for walking to museums and sights. The downside is that the bed was extremely hard and the pillows terrible. The front desk staff didn't speak English very well and were clearly inexperienced. We had a broken phone for four days.. kept trying to tell them but I guess they didn't understand, and we lost a sought-after restaurant reservation due to it. All in all, a really good base in Munich.

Was there in the summer of 2011. Absolutely fabulous location - convenient and central. Hotel has character and great amenities. The bar on the ground floor makes perfect cocktail. Breaky also excellent. Food quality unquestionable. All in all there is no other place to stay when in Munchen!

Stayed here twice to and from a ski trip. Location is superb and the rooms very fresh and modern. Staff were all very friendly (and gave great tip for a very cool bar in town). Free wifi also bonus! Would defiantly stay again.
