Stayed a couple of times at the Angelo in Münich for business. Although "only" a 4 star rated hotel, I must admit that I was surprised by the level of quality the serve.
Rooms are all the same size, you are in the heart of the city, cuisine is very good including a very friendly atmosphere during breakfast.
If you are looking for a good hotel in Munich which doesn't charge you an arm and a leg = this is the place to be!

My girlfriend and i stayed here for a weekend away and we had a great time. the hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. the room was pleasant and clean. the bar and breakfast buffet were both great.
the train station is right next door and links to the whole city in minutes. twenty five mins to the airport too.

Stayed for a long weekend to enjoy the Christmas Markets. The room was clean and the bathroom had a spacious shower cubicle. Despite high occupancy slept soundly as the hotel was well insulated and very quiet with a pleasant ambient temperature. Breakfast was plentiful with a good selection of breads, cheese, meat, preserves and fruit. Situated conveniently for the S Bahn was frustrated that the hotel had no stock of travel tickets as advertised. Staff were very polite with a offered a good level of service.

The Hotel had a great atmosphere, friendly staff and were very accomidating when we asked about what to do in the area. The bar staff had an excellent knowledge of drinks and suggestions for the mood. There was also a huge variety of choices for breakfast especially with American coffee. Everything was super clean and well organized. We will definately come back to this Hotel in the future!
