We stayed here for three nights before New Years. The main thing about this Guesthouse is clean,clean,clean! The breakfast is very well presented with various choices. The people are very welcoming and friendly. Very quiet but just 5 min walk to the shops. I will stay here again if I visit Garmisch again for sure!

We stayed at this establishment on the 6 & 7 December 2010 whilst doing a drive tour of Germany. Can highly recommend this location for the weary traveller. The Manager/Owner was most welcoming and obliging to our needs, rooms very comfortable, breakfast well presented. Situated short walking distance to shops etc. Consider very good value for money. Would stay there again if location is within our future travel plans. Also found local townspeople to be very friendly.

We planned 3 days in Garmish to launch for different adventures and castles. We loved Gasthaus Maria so much that we stayed longer and plan another adventure there in the future. It was definitely a "home" for us with helpful owners and plenty to do nearby. Do not miss the complimentary visit to the pool. Awesome! Breakfast was perfect with a beautiful view. Quick launch to various castles, skiing, swimming, shopping. Restaurants, bars and shopping within walking distance are wonderful. I cannot say enough. This was our most memorable stay while touring through Bavaria.

We stayed here for one week in the middle of September 2011 and thoroughly enjoyed it. The location is quiet and peaceful, yet so close to the very pretty town and Alpine walks. It is the second time I have been to Garmisch Partenkirchen and I would come back to stay here. The owners were very freindly and helpful, and had excellent English. Our room was a good size, very clean with a good sized bathroom. However, the sofa bed was most uncomfortable. Breakfast was delicious with lots to choose from, and the view from the breakfast glass-windowed sunroom was magnificent. I would highly recommend this place to anyone (unless sleeping on the sofa bed) who wants a peaceful place to stay. There is about a 3 minute walk to sloping alpine meadows which we frequented.
