We were looking for a place to stay for 1 night in the Garmisch area and called the hotel from the Visitors center and were told we could get a triple room for the nght for 3 adults. We found it to be very comfortable with a double room for us and a single room for our adult child. The staff was wonderful. The breakfast was adequate with many choices. We decided to stay an extra night because there was so much to do in the area. We have nothing but good things to say about this hotel and the staff. Thank You for a Great Stay!!!

I stayed here with my husband on an overnight trip from Munich to visit the Zugspitze. The hotel was easy to get to from the train station and it was an easy walk from the hotel to the Zugspitze station. A very tradtional hotel, the room was a good size with a king sized bed, closet, bar fridge and well equipped bathroom. We requested a room overlooking the mountains, and had a beautiful, large deck with 2 loungers and table. The perfect spot to unwind with a beer and enjoy the scenery!! The hotel has a 'spa' with steam bath, sauna and lounge chairs. This was a pleasant surprise that we greatly enjoyed. Breakfast was included in our cost, and we thoroughly enjoyed the selection of hot and cold items as well as the excellent coffee. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly.
I would highly recomend this hotel and hope to have the opportunlty to return!

The hotel was very nice and we liked everything about it except that the street was noisey making it difficult to fall asleep. People in the back of the hotel said there was no noise so we recommend requesting a room away from the street.

Very hard bed, also we are booking for 4 single beds, they confirm to give us all single beds, but later on when we check in, we get only two single very hard beds and one very small sofa bed for 2 persons, the room got kitchen but the door to kitchen is locked, the reception said if I want to open the kitchen door must pay extra money, also no tea pot for tea or coffee in the room, we have to get our hot water from restaurant, don't trust the photos that they display, we have city view so my window view is somebody apartment no view at all, only good thing about this hotel is location, but this is small town anyway, not suggest to stay this hotel again.
