I wouldnt go out of my way to rave about this place. It was OK. Our room was very spacious and clean. It felt like a grandmas bedroom. We had a view to the front yard and a large balcony. The location is GREAT! We never had to move our car once. The breakfast were fine. Not as good as some places but not bad either. They were very friendly on giving helpful advice. Im not sure if I would stay there again, but actually we saw everything there is to see in Garmisch so I see no need to go back.

We stayed 6 nights in this hotel while visiting our daughter. We stayed in room number 22 which was large, quiet and had a great balcony. The hotel is a short and enjoyable walk to downtown Garmisch and the train station. The front desk staff was friendly and gave great advise on what to see and do. The breakfast was very good and the lady working in the breakfast room was very friendly. We enjoyed this hotel very much and will stay here again when we visit Garmisch.

We stayed here for only one night during a hectic train tour around Germany. However we could happily have spent longer here as the hotel is comfortable and quiet yet amazingly central and (important to us) convenient for the station.

Our main purpose in visiting was to travel up the Zugspitze, so as we only had 1 night the convenience of the location to the station was significant in choosing a hotel. But regardless of convenience we are really glad we chose this hotel.

The room, although traditional and a little dated was a good size and comfortable with a good really modern well-equipped bathroom which included a bathtub and not just a shower. It was very quiet.

We did not want to spend our little time in GP trying to find a suitable restaurant for our evening meal, so opted for a meal in the hotel restaurant. Another good decision as the limited menu still had a number of tempting options and the meals my wife and I eventually selected were inexpensive, simple but beautifully cooked, tasty and filling.

The breakfast buffet, while not the most extensive we sampled on our journey, was nevertheless plentiful and well-presented and thoroughly enjoyable. The staff were friendly and helpful and we were treated like long term guests and not just over-nighters. There was a real family atmosphere about the place.

We considered the price to be appropriate and therefore good value.

All in all a good choice for an overnight or indeed longer stay in GP.

Really enjoyed our stay here. I felt like we were in my grandmas bedroom and dining room. Service was good, everyone friendly. Walking distance to town and everything, even the gorge place. Only complaint was they advertised wifi in all rooms but our connection was terrible. We had to go to entrance or front steps to use it, that was irritating.
