When we arrived nobody welcomed us at the door, 3 persons at the reception were dealing with one guest and nobody rose an eyebrow to say 'hello' for some 10 minutes. Then they did not have our reservation, so we got an upgrade :)

The hotel is beautiful, tastefully decorated, rooms are very clean and new. Breakfast is great. The Michelin star restaurant in the hotel (The Ciel) was also great and interesting.

Beds very comfortable. Spa clean and nice, great sauna department. Pools are not too big.

I did not like the charge for the garage some 20Euro per day. I absolutely hate the wi-fi charge (very expensive, I think it starts at some 10 Euro and they charge how much you spend). Wi-fi is nowadays free almost everywhere, from airports and bus stations to small cafes, I hate being charged for it in fancy places.

And the last problem was the massage. I got a masseur that absolutely did not know what she was doing. It was very bad. But after I complained I got a complimentary massage that was better but again not great. They do not seem to have the habit of making an atmosphere for the massage. I was in full light, no music... I don't know what to think. Maybe it was just a mistake, or they don't get the concept...

The area is nice, we had lots of snow.

Been there, seen that, well done, but I don't think we will return.

Just celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary here all courtesy of my hotel reward points - it was worth saving up the points and using them on what is a most beautiful hotel. What made our stay so memorable was the attentive service from all the staff we had contact with. On arrival our room wasn't ready, but we were quickly offered a glass of proseco and made to feel very welcome in the cozy hotel bar. As a platinum member we were upgraded to an executive room. Not sure about other comments about rooms with fireplace obstructing view - ours was fine!. The hotel also gave us a bottle of local fizzy to celebrate our special day. We rented brand new and top spec skis from the hotel - the service and attention from the in house ski rep was outstanding; helpful and courteous - frankly the best experience we have ever had when renting skis!. Skiing from the hotel on un-pisted slope in the morning after heavy snow fall and being the first to venture on it was a highlight!. We enjoyed exploring the area and after a long day walking or skiing it was a pleasure to come back to the hotel and enjoy the wonderful spa. The outdoor pool, heated to 35 degrees was surreal, especially at night under a snow blizzard! As we had left kids behind at home we enjoyed having the spa for adults only after 6pm; very relaxing!. We didn't eat in much as we found the prices a little high - the price for a bottle of wine was unacceptable. However we did eat in the Bavarian restaurant and felt that the food, cost and ambience was excellent - have the fondue, excellent value and delicious. Thoroughly recommend this hotel - it is expensive but is definitely worth it. Most of the staff spoke excellent English and are all very attentive.

This place is worth every bit of the price you will probably pay - but its worth it! I was there in winter and saw a view every morning that would easily appear on a postcard. The facilities are extremely self contained, with the minibar being inclusive of the room rate (believe me when I say you can't finish the drinks!) so for those thinking of making a trip to the neighourhood supermarket before heading here banish the thought! The only thing you might need to buy is alcoholic drinks which is not included.

Facilities wise - this is about as good as it gets, with two swimming pools, one outdoor, which you can enter via a door inside so you don't get exposed to the elements before dipping into the pool! Plus the steam room and sauna are top class - personally the heat in the herbal sauna wasn't enough but the steam room was!

I did not try any of the restaurants - they appeared to be pricey and I would be loath to spend EUR 300 on a meal! Just go to any of the restaurants in town - and rent a car while you're in the area otherwise you're stuck!

Special mention goes to Sebastian - it is said that the heart and soul of any hotel is its staff and he exemplifies this with his dedication to making us feel right at home! Whenever he was unsure of something, he would be sure to follow up and provide a printout of the answer which really made our day!

Cant descripe recent stay enough. If you look for relaxing weekend, there is probably not a better choice in this area. Stunnig views, incredible spa and pools.
