My husband and I spent just one night here in October 2011. The hotel itself was typical for a Hilton Garden Inn -- clean and comfortable. The bathroom was larger than typical bathrooms in Europe. The included breakfast buffet was huge - anything you could want for breakfast was available. The coffee was more American than German, not the super strong coffee we got everywhere else. The inn is very close to Porsche Arena and Mercedes Museum (walking distance). During our visit, there was a public transportation strike. I wanted to visit Konigstrasse (huge shopping district), and learned that the cost for a taxi would have been 30+ euros! I would say for shopping, it is a very inconvenient location. For Porsche/Mercedes visits - the perfect location.

The Hilton Garden Inn is a fantastic location for entertainment at the sports venues or the Mercedes Benz museum. It has a very nice and contemporary design with lots of tasteful art and modern decor in the bathrooms. The rooms offer much space, more than other Stuttgart city hotels. The beds are very comfortable and adjustable. For downtown activities, it is at a rather remote location. The breakfast buffet is just unbelievable, a wide variety and very tasty. The reception and restaurant staff was very friendly, especially for German standards ;-)). If we were looking for a hotel for any occasion again, this would be our first choice.

Ok I have an update. The internet connection worked much better this time and seemed to stay connected most of the entire time. I did use the cable in the room to connect vs. using the wireless. I do like this hotel - I will staying be there again in a month or so. The front desk group are very helpful and helped tell me some things about the Christmas market in Stuttgart. I had breakfast at the hotel a few times and they do have a nice selection of fruits, cereals and eggs and sausages.

There is a team store right next to the hotel for the Stuttgart soccer team and I went in there to check out some things. I keep thinking sometime when I stay here there will be a cool event going on at the Stadium or the Porsche arena next door but no luck yet.

If you stay here I don't you will go wrong. I am a Hilton diamond member and stay at a lot of Hilton brand hotels. I have brought two other work partners who also stay at many Hilton hotels. We all agree this is the nicest Garden Inn we have stayed in.

Great business hotel ! Very comfy beds adjustable to your sleep requirement, Miller chair for comfy long hours on the PC/laptop, exercise equipment can be on loan for use in-room apart from the gym, good breakfast selection and brand new bathrooms. Plenty of free parking on the roadside right outside the hotel. Tip : ensure you don't get caught in the football game season, as the hotel is sandwhiched between the Porsche Arena and the Mercedes Benz Arena. Great location to be if u want peace and quiet otherwise, and 5 min walk to the Mercedes Benz Museum.
