My mother, my aunt and my cousin were visiting my uncle that lives
nearby the hotel . My mother preferred not to stay with them because
it’s a small apartment. She decided to verify the possibility of
staying in the pflieger hotel and made a pre-reservation.
My aunt helped her with the English. She was attended by a woman that
made a reservation for one person for the period of 07-04 till 07-09.
My uncle didn’t accepted for her to stay in a hotel and she went
kindly to the hotel to notify, despite she had left there no
information about herself. She could had just forgot about it.
When she arrived there, she were extremely bad-treated by a male
attended. She didn’t refuse to pay for the first night but she was
without her handbag. So she told the receptionist that she would get
the money in the building in front but he refused to let her go,
shouted at her, humiliating her and threaten he was going to call the
police. My mother is a doctor, pediatrician, - you can find her name
in google. My stepfather is a lawyer and in Brazil this occurred would
be considered moral damages. The receptionist charged her a double
room. A guest that spoke Spanish helped her following to the apartment
so she could get her handbag. My mother has his name and we can
contact him to be our witness to the mistreatment.
We look forward for apologizes and for the correction of the price charged.
( She wouldn’t mind to pay for the single room for one night)

There's nothing to shout about this hotel, but if you're looking for a clean and basic place to live that is not too far from the center of the city, this is it.
For the price, I doubt if you'd get a better deal in Stuttgart. Also, it's extremely quiet here and I slept well while I was there.
I would certainly recommend this to others.

I stayed 1 night in Stuttgart after a trip around London, Southampton and Bavarian and Baden Germany, just before i flew out to Singapore. Very comfortable hotel. Small but well equipped. I stayed in an adjacent building from the hotel and being a solo traveler felt safe there. The ladies in the reception were very helpful even with allowing me to use their laptop there to access the internet and providing information on the sights. Only trouble i had was dragging my luggage bags up the stairs to the hotel as i did not realise there was another way in but i had to take a huge turn. The hotel is close to the train station (3 min walk) so I would suggest that you get a cab from there if you have luggage bags. It is difficult dragging them on cobble stones! Otherwise, breakfast was adequate and I found their pricing reasonable for the location.

We stayed at quite a few hotels between February and May this year and the Hotel Pflieger would have to be one of our favourites. About ten minutes walk to the train station, with very pleasant comfortable rooms and extremely attentive staff, this hotel could not be faulted and was extremely good value for money. We particularly liked the spaciousness of the room and the large bathroom. Breakfast was generous.
